Cute White German Sheperd face on paws

Willow grew up thinking she lived in the wild. Willow and Kat spent their time exploring the woods, looking for mushrooms, following animal trails, rescuing sick animals and planting seeds and trees where they could. We helped others to find out where there paths were, when they were confused we helped them to find clarity.

After some years in the magical woods we moved to California. We lived in the mountains where the last Native American tribes were found. We connected with the land and found many ancient treasures.

When the plan-demic rolled out we returned to England for a grief interlude. Mum was unwell. They explored Scotland for Chaaga and Birch Polypores

We then travelled to Canada for a work mission. Willow and I always suffered with separation anxiety as we had always been together didn’t enjoy being apart. Willow once broke her ankle jumping from the top floor of a building to try to get to me. Willow took mushroom tinctures to help with the anxiety that came with flying on the big adventures.

Willow stayed in Canada whilst I had to return to England to say goodbye to mother. Everyone was sad for a long time.

During their explorations in the Rocky Mountains, we found many medicinal fungi. We wanted to go to Vancouver to meet with Paul Stamet, our hero, but instead we decided to return home to our familiar community that we call home.

More on Willows use of mushrooms in another episode.
